However, the paralegal from Hackney in London has revealed that she can’t start spending the eye-watering figure just yet. The winner still has several weeks to properly plan how to splash the cash prize before the money lands in her bank account in March.
Thankfully, the delay is no bother to the record-breaking contestant who is still “lost for words” after watching her episode hit the airwaves with her family on Monday [January 3].
Speaking to , she shared the strategy that helped her get to the finish line. Nay Nay revealed: “For me, it was just about following faith, having a new experience and meeting the people that I would have never met before.
“I knew I was going to the end so my main thing is I wanted to ensure that I had fun, which I definitely did”. Looking back at the momentous game, she gushed: “I mean, my game was so fun. I remember screaming, crying, laughing, and it was just amazing.

“When I went on the show it was more than just about the money. The experience is more than the money can buy. The money is just a bonus.”
When Nay Nay joined the show, presented by , it took her a staggering 27 games before she was selected to play.
Her win comes after the jackpot had been cut by £150,000 since moving to ITV in 2023 from Channel 4 – where it was presented by . Previous contestants could take home up to £250,000 before the show was axed by its former home after 11 years in 2016.
Today, the prize should be around £379,525 if it were in line with inflation according to an online calculator from financial services company Hargreaves Lansdown.
Nay Nay went on to reveal how she felt after watching back the thrilling episode for the first time this week. She told the outlet: “All the emotions came back. I started crying again when I was watching it, just because it’s a life-changing amount of money”.
The player has vowed not to “squander” the £750,000 and instead will treat her grandma to a spa day, donate 10% to her church and use the rest for a house deposit.
