Gordon Ramsay’s romantic meal for two costs £100
Gordon Ramsay, the Michelin-starred chef, is offering a package that puts couples in the chef’s hat – for a sizeable fee.
The culinary legend, 58, has set the price at £100 per person for an evening of romance and fine dining, but there’s a twist – you have to cook it yourself. Experts guide couples through a two-hour cooking adventure.
Set to unfold on February 14 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, the Valentine’s Dinner course includes a sumptuous pasta main, delectable dessert, and a complimentary glass of wine to toast the occasion.
However, starry-eyed diners hoping for a glimpse of himself will be disappointed; although his moniker graces the experience, he won’t be there to add celebrity seasoning.
Priced £25 higher than its iteration two years ago, the course also nudges guests’ wallets further with added extras—like the opportunity to purchase their apron for £15.
Nevertheless, the Gordon Ramsay Academy promises an unforgettable night, saying: “Make sure this Valentine’s Day is delicious, fun and full of memories by joining us for an indulgent evening of cooking, eating and wine tasting. What could be better as an activity for two?”
Adding to the allure, they suggest: “Get in the kitchen with someone you love and share the experience of learning new recipes and cooking skills, along with an incredible wine tasting to pair with your meal, from Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants. You’ll be cooking along with lots of other couples and friends – we think the more love to share the better.”

Gordon Ramsay’s cooking academy is set to offer a truly romantic cooking experience, inviting couples to join their chefs in whipping up a sumptuous dinner for two this Valentine’s Day.
It adds: “You’ll join our chefs in the kitchen as you work together to create a speedy dinner for two. With a perfect handmade pasta, with a Valentine’s surprise, this is the dish that will definitely impress.
“To finish off, what could be better than digging into an indulgent pudding? Giving up the last spoonful is a real show of love.”
As if that’s not enough, the session includes wine connoisseurs guiding you through a pairing with your meal, ensuring an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
The enticing event takes place at the established Gordon Ramsay Academy in Woking, Surrey, whilst food enthusiasts can eagerly anticipate another branch opening soon in Bishopsgate, central London. One fan, Monica Guerin, wrote: “Nothing beats Valentine’s Day with a few expletives thrown in.”
Don’t miss…
However, eager fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the celebrity chef himself will face disappointment; the Academy clarified Ramsay’s absence by stating, “Gordon tries to visit the Academy when he can and loves following what you’re all cooking on social media.”
They reassured attendees that Gordon’s expertise and personal cooking tips permeate the sessions, delivered by brilliant chef teachers with a wealth of experience. “Our classes and events are hosted by brilliant chef teachers who will be passing on tips and tricks from Gordon. As well as tons of knowledge from their own experience in restaurants and kitchens around the world.”
For those wishing to keep the culinary magic alive, the Academy promises the bonus of taking some of its enchantment back home: “take the magic of the Academy home with you at the end of the class.”
Their statement adds: “By purchasing ahead of time, you’ll be able to keep the apron you wear during the class, for a special discounted rate not available on the day of the experience. Adult aprons are one size fits all, with a choice of colour on the day: navy blue, slate grey or black.”
In 2023, the same course was priced at £75 per person. The Gordon Ramsay Academy has been approached for comment.
