Good Morning Britain sparked complaints
Fans of ITV’s said that they wouldn’t be watching before the show even started today. Posting to social media ahead of the 6am start, the programme announced what would be coming up on today’s episode.
With an image that urged fans to “join and from 6am” the post shared a sneak peek of what viewers could expect. It read: “Coming up: A boy who was stabbed to death at a school in Sheffield has been named locally as 15-year-old Harvey Willgoose. Detectives are continuing to question a teenager on suspicion of murder.
” Serial baby killer Lucy Letby’s lawyers are set to reveal ‘new medical evidence’ this morning as they go public to try to dramatically reopen her case. Her new barrister joins us after 7.
“We’ll meet the pub landlady who scored an own goal – offering a free pint EVERY time Nottingham Forest scored…only for them to win seven nil.”
However, before the show even started fans began to complain. Posting in the comments, some shared that they would be “switching off”.
GMB sparked complaints
One viewer complained: “Is this what GMB has come to…I wake up have my coffee and breakfast and all I get is two middle aged men bickering. I had to switch over it’s not the way I want to start my day.”
Another quipped that there were other options on TV, saying: “Cheers is on Channel 4,” while a third commented with a bunch of yawning emojis.
One more person fumed: “GMB has become a voice box for reform and the . Disgraceful show and Reid is the leader of the pack.” While someone else added: “Only half a story here again on the boy from Sheffield why you not talking to parents of the school children.”

Last week, fans branded the ITV breakfast show a “joke” after competition presenter Andi Peters sparked complaints. The star had flown out to Cape Town in South Africa to promote the latest competition.
The segment proved majorly controversial, with fans of the show fuming over its “carbon footprint” and slamming it as a “waste”.
Someone else said they’ve stopped watching entirely, writing: “GMB’s standards have fallen dreadfully. It’s more like now which is why I’ve stopped watching.”
