Allison Holker is revealing that she and her family have had visitations by Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss since he died of suicide in December 2022.
During an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast, published Feb. 4, Holker said Boss first visited her days after he died.
“I’ve always had dreams since I was young that sometimes come to life and I’ve had dreams that become very real,” Holker began, explaining that she had “seen my children in my dreams before they were born.”
“After Stephen had passed, I hadn’t slept in about four or five days I think had gone by at this point, and my kids really hadn’t either,” she said. “Zaia was crying hysterically, and it was supposed to be naptime but she just could not settle herself. She could not go to sleep.”
Holker said that she went into daughter Zaia’s room, adding that her daughter was “very, very little” and “still trying to comprehend what had happened.”
“I closed my eyes, but I wasn’t asleep yet, and everything started shaking in the room,” Holker said. “There was almost, like, the static you see on the TV behind my eyes, the black and white static, and I saw three faces. And I don’t know to this day what those other two faces were. But it was staticky in between three different faces.”
She continued, “At the very end, I held on to one of the faces and it said, ‘I’m so sorry, and I love you so much. I’m sorry.’ And Stephen’s face faded away.”
After seeing Boss’ apparition, Holker said the two were finally able to take a nap, “the first time I slept … since everything had happened.”
“I woke up and I felt a lot more settled. I wasn’t fully healed or anything like that, but I felt settled that he was watching over us and looking out for us,” Holker said.
Holker told host Jamie Kern Lima that Boss has continued to appear to her and their oldest daughter, Wesley.
“There’s been times when it’s been really beautiful and there’s been times when it’s been a little scary,” she said, adding that she has has to ask Boss at times to “give some space.”
“We know that he’s watching over our family,” she continued. “I know that Stephen always loved us and always wanted to protect us. And in whatever way in his mind, he thought he was doing that.”
Though Holker said she has forgiven Boss for herself, she added, “I don’t know if I’ll ever forgive him for my kids.”
Holker just released a memoir, “This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light” on Feb. 4, 2025, which she has said includes information from Boss’ journals.
Addressing backlash from Boss’ family she received after an interview where she spoke about the book, Holker subsequently shared a lengthy statement to her Instagram story.
“To fans of Stephen and our family and friends, I want to be clear that my only intention in writing the book is to share my own story as well as part of my life with Stephen to help other people,” she said. “Just like you, I never really knew what happened, and even as I am trying to put the pieces together I will never really know.”
