A statement announcing Athena’s birth was released on January 29, along with the first picture of the adorable newborn.
Athena – who joins her siblings Sienna, three, and Edoardo’s son, eight-year-old Wolfie – can be seen wrapped in a pink blanket with her hand covering her face.
Although her face was covered, royal fans could already see that Athena shares one detail with and ‘s children – a hint of auburn hair.

Despite very minimal pictures released of Harry’s children, now aged five and three, Archie and Lilibet are known to share their father’s famous red locks.
It is not just Beatrice – and Harry’s children – that Athena resembles, but her hair was also incredibly similar to Sienna when she was pictured for the first time.
A statement confirming Athena’s birth on Wednesday read: “Her Royal Highness and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, born on Wednesday, 22nd January, at 12:57 pm, at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.
“The baby was born weighing 4 pounds 5 ounces. Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family have all been informed and are delighted with the news.”

Beatrice was reportedly due to give birth in early spring but, in December, she received medical advice and was told not to travel long distances.
The royal and her young family then spent Christmas at the Sandringham estate with King Charles, Queen Camilla and other royal relatives.
Also sharing the sweet picture of the sleeping newborn, proud father of three wrote on his : “Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi. We welcomed Baby Athena into our lives last week. She is tiny and absolutely perfect. We are all (including Wolfie and Sienna) already completely besotted with her.
“Our hearts are overflowing with love for you, baby Athena. A massive thank you from my wife and I goes out to all the wonderful staff at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for their exceptional care and support during this incredibly special time.”
