looked every inch the royal as in Scotland over the weekend, just days after s last year.

The Princess Royal, who has been patron of Scottish rugby since 1986, was snapped congratulating players on the pitch at Murrayfield Stadium ahead of the Guinness Six Nations 2025 match between Scotland and Italy.

King Charles’s sister dressed weather-appropriate as she opted for a tartan navy and green coat, which she paired with navy trousers, black flat shoes and a teal scarf. To complete the look, she wore a pair of black leather gloves and a black bag.

The royal previously wore the exact same coat during last year’s Famous Grouse Nations Series rugby match between Scotland and Portugal.

She also had her hair styled in her signature bouffant style.

Anne was snapped in the stands as well as greeting both teams before the match, which saw Scotland beat their rivals with a 31-19 result.

The Princess Royal attended the event solo, just like she travelled to South Africa on her own after her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, suffered an injury and had to recuperate at home.

It comes just days after Anne opened up about the suspected horse accident she was involved in last year, which left her staying in hospital for five nights with a concussion and minor head injuries.

She said the incident “sharply reminded” her “that every day is a bonus”.

The King’s sister was rushed to Southmead Hospital in Bristol last June after she was seemingly struck by a horse while walking on her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire.

Anne said she was on the way to see chickens on her estate when the accident happened but has no memory of what followed.

Asked about any lasting ill effects by the Press Association, she lightened the mood and joked: “Apparently not, at least I don’t think so. As far as I know nobody else thinks so – they haven’t been honest enough to tell me yet. So far so good.”
