Mikey Graham has slammed the door shut on any Boyzone reunion, revealing he hasn’t spoken to his former bandmates in over five years. The new Sky documentary series “Boyzone: No Matter What” offers an intimate look at the group’s tumultuous history, including their sell-out tours, interactions with Louis Walsh, two disbandments, and the tragic passing of Stephen Gately.

As which aired on February 2 on Sky Documentaries and NOW, Mikey Graham’s absence was conspicuous.

Opting out of a red carpet event for the documentary as well, Graham continues the silence that has persisted since their last interaction during Boyzone’s final bow on the Thank You and Goodnight tour, which concluded over five years ago.

Dubbed ‘The Quiet One’ in the band’s prime, the Raheny-born vocalist has admitted to losing touch with his former colleagues since their last gig together.

In the documentary, Graham is resolute about not rejoining Boyzone or reconnecting with Ronan, Shane, and Keith, showing no inclination to dwell on bygone days. Ronan has previously acknowledged the communication gap with Mikey, who has candidly declared he doesn’t want to “waste my future looking back at my past.”, reports .

Reflecting on the conclusion of a chapter, he remarked, “I haven’t seen anybody since that night [last show]’. “I wish them the absolute best in their lives, I wish them nothing but happiness,” as reported by the Irish Mirror.”

“I hold no grudges, no animosity, nothing,” Mikey Graham revealed as he opened up about the personal challenges he faced during his time in the spotlight, as documented in “Boyzone: No Matter What”. Despite the band’s incredible success in the UK and Ireland, marked by numerous chart-topping hits, Mikey struggled with feelings of rejection after being replaced as the lead singer and resorted to alcohol for solace.

He confessed: “However, I don’t want to go back to how I felt for many years.”

“To see them for too long would remind me of that and my future is way too important to me to waste it looking back on my past,” he added. He also shed light on the lack of communication from manager Louis Walsh, stating, “That was the beginning of a hard struggle for me through the years.”
