bounced back from a goal down to secure a crucial 2-1 win over and condemn their former boss Graham Potter to defeat on his return to Stamford Bridge.
Jarrod Bowen, only just back from injury, finished brilliantly after a howler from Levi Colwill as struggled to break down the low West Ham block.
But made four changes after half time and it sprung the hosts into life, with substitute bringing them level and ‘s effort deflecting in for a Aaron Wan-Bissaka own goal.

Filip Jorgensen 6
Finally given his chance ahead of the blundering Robert Sanchez, the Dane had a few nervy moments but settled into the game. Made a few solid stops to deny Bowen and Kudus, and couldn’t do much to stop the forward slotting into the corner.
Reece James 6
fans would’ve feared the worst when he stayed down after landing awkwardly, but the right-back soldiered on and sent in some dangerous deliveries that went unfinished by Jackson and co. Booked and replaced on the hour.
Tosin Adarabioyo 7
Was nowhere near his defensive partner when Colwill lost the ball for Bowen’s goal. But the centre-back made a few crucial blocks in the second half and then pulled off an incredible match-winning stop to deny Kudus in stoppage time.
Levi Colwill 4
Made a couple of sloppy passes early on as he struggled to deal with the West Ham press. He escaped once, but the centre-back paid the price for an ill-advised pass back that set Bowen in on goal to score. Simply has to do better.

Marc Cucurella 6
Spent most of his time hovering around the West Ham box, waiting for the ball to fall his way. Caught out for the opener after losing his aerial battle with Vladimir Coufal.
Moises Caicedo 6
Enjoyed a feisty but fair battle with Jarrod Bowen, but defensively was a little lacking. Ecuadorian also committed a lot of niggly fouls.
Enzo Fernandez 7
Tried to thread the needle with some daring passes and then couldn’t find the far corner when slid in by Madueke. Took the game by the scruff of the neck in the second half.

Blazed over when gifted his first real glimpse of goal and didn’t enjoy as much influence as he usually does. Curled a brilliant goal-bound free-kick only to see Alphonse Areola somehow tip it over. It was his deflected cross that beat Areola late on and deserved his ovation from the fans as he came off.

Noni Madueke 5
Had the game’s first golden opportunity but missed the target, having ignored his team-mates’ calls for a pass. His crossing rarely beat the first man and that’s a disappointment for the winger. Hooked on the hour.
Jadon Sancho 6
Saw a lot of the ball early on from the left and combined well with Palmer. Curled one decent chance over the bar. A surprise to see him dragged off with barely 50 minutes on the clock.
Nicolas Jackson 5
Suffered a tweak to his hamstring, which appeared to impact his movements. Stayed on, but struggled to get involved after that. Subbed off with 50 minutes on the clock.

Talk about an impact. The Portuguese admitted this week he hasn’t been at his best, and he responded with a clean effort to equalise only 15 minutes after coming off the bench.

Overlooked by Maresca for the first change, the Frenchman was summoned from the bench later on but didn’t get much of a sniff.

Replaced James in what appeared to be a planned change and tried to make things happen down the right.
