Anne Nolan in tears live on GMB as she makes tragic Linda realisation

Anne Nolan broke down in tears live on while reading a poem dedicated to her late sister Linda.

died after a long cancer battle on January 15th at Blackpool’s Victoria Hospital. Her funeral was held in the Lancashire town this weekend (February 1), with a poignant poem read aloud to celebrate her life and legacy.

Laid to rest in a glittery pink coffin, Linda clearly had her sisters emotional, and with Anne appearing on GMB to discuss the ceremony, all those emotions came rushing back.

After reading a few lines of the poem, Anne choked up, putting a hand to her chest and taking a deep breath as she fought back tears.

She reflected: “She didn’t suffer fools lightly at all, but she loved people and she always took charge of everything, no matter what it was.

Don’t miss…

“Our friends said she was at a wedding, apparently, and the two sons got up to speak and they were making a mess of it, so she grabbed the microphone off them and spoke.

“That’s what she was like. If she thought people were suffering doing something, she would take charge – that’s what she was like, a massive personality.”

She ended on the realisation: “She was loved by so many. I didn’t realise how many people genuinely loved her until the funeral. We spoke to all these people and they spoke so highly of her.”

Anne said she’s been “luckier” than her sisters, beating cancer twice. She said: “I survived. It’s been amazing.”
