star has a very famous brother who has co-starred alongside him in various projects
The presenter – who made headlines for suddenly stepping back from his series due to “health issues” – is brother to Mike Fielding, who made his first TV appearance alongside Noel and his partner Julian Barratt in The Mighty Boosh.
The Three comedy ran from 2003 until 2007, with Mike playing Naboo, a shaman, while Noel played Vince Noir.
Mike has also popped up in his brother’s sitcom Luxury Comedy from 2012 until 2014, and toured with Noel for his 2015 stand-up tour An Evening with Noel Fielding. In his spare time, Mike is a DJ – and has even supported Fatboy Slim.
In 2024, he landed the role of Benny in The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin – before filming was abruptly halted when Noel pulled out of the programme.

Noel Fielding has starred alongside his famous brother Mike
An insider claims the decision to stop production was taken after “exhausting” every other solution, telling The Times: “Noel has said that he can’t film anymore and so there was no choice but to stop.” His agent said: “One of the main cast members who has not been well is not recovered enough to complete the filming.”
Mike might be out of a job at the Apple TV series, but it seems he’s quite happy living a relatively quiet life with his boyfriend, Mark Morgan.
Mark is an artist, and Mike regularly pays tribute to his beau on social media – writing on his last birthday in April 2024: “Happy 36th Birthday to my amazing man. You are my best friend, my soul mate and my everything.”
More recently, the pair took a trip to London to celebrate Mike’s birthday. Alongside some sweet snaps on , the comedian wrote: “An amazing birthday weekend in London – Edward Scissorhands the Musical, breakfast at Giraffe, serial killer exhibition, The World of Tim Burton exhibition, amazing dinner at Dishoom Kensington… thank you [Mark]. Love you to the moon and back.”
The pair have been together for nine years.
Mike was actually part of the reason for his brother’s rise to fame, as he helped inspire the title of The Mighty Boosh. One of his Spanish friends referred to Mike’s curly hair as a “mighty bush”, from which they took the abstract name of the surrealist comedy.
