Mathys Tel will reportedly be left out of Bayern Munich’s squad today with the forward braced to make a decision over his future. and are among the clubs who have been linked with a blockbuster transfer for the exciting forward.
Tel made a rare starting in Bayern’s 3-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League on Wednesday but has had his situation monitored by several English clubs. were said to be closing in on a deal before that move reportedly collapsed.
The 19-year-old also has interest from , and . It is claimed that he has grown frustrated over a lack of game time in Germany, making only eight league appearances this season and just two as a starter.
Tel is set to weigh up his future this weekend ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline. According to , he will be excluded for Bayern’s game today while he makes that decision.
Despite Bayern claiming that Tel has asked to leave, the Frenchman has reportedly not ruled out remaining with the Bavarian club. He signed a new contract last March which ties him to the Bundesliga leaders until 2029.
