Graziano, on the other hand, confessed to News that an incident where he kicked his 2023 partner Zara McDermott during rehearsal was the reason behind his exit from the popular dance competition.

In the September 2024 episode, Janette discussed the complexities of transitioning from competitive dancing to a show environment, saying: “When you take a dancer who, all they’ve ever done is compete – all they’ve ever known is to be selfish and to only think about winning – it’s a hit.

“But it’s a very complex situation, there’s no one reason why things didn’t work out.” She then revealed her supportive words to Aljaz: “I think though, honestly, Aljaz being back, I keep saying to him, ‘you’ve come to save the show!'”

Emily commented on the couple’s joyful home life, leading Janette to laugh and admit: “I think so! Until Aljaz and I argue…” Curious, Emily inquired about the nature of their arguments, to which Janette explained: “Honestly, I swear, the only thing we argue about is choreographing because I will want to do a step one way, Aljaz will want to do it another way.

“And I’m going, ‘no, but the music is saying this’, and he’s going, ‘but I feel it should be that’, we’re both so passionate!”

She concluded by expressing how dance brings them together: “The choreographing bit is tough, and then as soon as we get together and we dance it, it’s the best feeling in the world. The dancing becomes our therapy and we forget about everything that just happened when we were choreographing it.”
