The Property Brothers’ star-studded show ‘Celebrity IOU’ is back — what to know

A new season of the Property Brothers’ show “Celebrity IOU” means more sledgehammers, more celebrities and more fun.

Drew and Jonathan Scott are bringing back their beloved HGTV series with a new season starting on Monday, Feb. 3, which will feature six new episodes each focused on a different A-list celebrity.

In Season 9 of “Celebrity IOU,” the Scott brothers, who executive produce the show, will take on remodeling challenges to help celebrities give back and express gratitude in the form of drastic home transformations.

“I tell people every day that Drew and I have the greatest job in the world,” Jonathan Scott said in a press release. “We feel lucky that we’re able to give these Hollywood powerhouses an opportunity to share a side of themselves you don’t usually see, while also changing someone’s life.” 

Here’s what to know about the upcoming season of the Property Brothers’ “Celebrity IOU.”

What is “Celebrity IOU” about?

“Celebrity IOU” stars Drew and Jonathan Scott, aka the Property Brothers, as they work with A-list celebrities to give back to loved ones by revamping their living spaces.

Each episode spotlights a new celebrity with a different vision for their family member’s or friend’s home.

“Part of what makes Celebrity IOU great is that the stories are so unique and diverse,” said Drew Scott in the release. “The celebrities have known their loved ones for years, so there’s a lot of history there. They get the satisfaction of doing something for someone they love, and it feels amazing that Jonathan and I get to be the conduits for that.”  

The Scott brothers will work on a variety of renovations, per the press release, which includes “a detached garage turned California coastal living room and an outdated kitchen transformed with design elements like terrazzo and herringbone wood floors.”

The new season of “Celebrity IOU” will premiere on Monday, Feb. 3, at 9 p.m. ET.

How to watch “Celebrity IOU”

New episodes for Season 9 will air every Monday at 9 p.m. ET on HGTV, and they will simultaneously stream on MAX and discovery+.

Which celebrities are featured in this season?

This upcoming season of “Celebrity IOU” features a star-studded cast, starting off with Rob Lowe in the premiere episode.

Following Lowe, the celebrity lineup is Courteney Cox, Andy Garcia, Goldie Hawn, Kyle MacLachlan and Sarah Silverman.

What other shows do the Property Brothers have?

Besides “Celebrity IOU”, the Property Brothers have multiple shows centered around home remodeling and real estate.
