According to the specalist, both of the aspects play a part. He continued to explain that dachsunds have a “strong tendency” towards reactivity, as well as and various behaviours like excessive barking.
He also highlighted the concerns around “unsavoury breeding practices” that has resulted in certain genetics in the bloodlines creating “nervy, anxious dachsunds.”

He warned: “Trust me, when things go wrong with Belgian Malinois, they often go very wrong and it’s not a breed of dog you want to be taking chances on, not a breed of dog you want to take risk on and not a dog you want to be practicing on.”
Will believes that cocker spaniels are not a good option for a family dog
