Father Brown season 12 is well underway with some familiar faces ready to star in The Invisible Friends.
Set to air on Friday, January 31, at 2pm on One and iPlayer, the episode features a popular agricultural radio drama recording an episode in Kembleford for added “authenticity”.
However, it isn’t long before a death occurs, and as always, it’s up to Father Brown (played by Mark Williams) to solve the mystery.

Graham Snow – Martin Jarvis
Graham Snow is the actor behind Mr Muckle in the radio drama The Muckles and so is central to this week’s episode.
Jarvis is known for his role in Titanic, portraying real-life sportsman Sir Duff Gordan in the movie with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.
He has also been in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Just William, , Breakaway, and Rings On Their Fingers.

Elizabeth Froth – Rosalind Ayres
Elizabeth Froth is Graham’s co-star in The Muckles and it is during The Invisible Friends that fellow actor Charlie Chumley (Nick Helm) humiliates her during a wedding scene.
Ayres, who is married to Jarvis in real life, also played his wife in Titanic.
She has graced the screens on ‘s Outnumbered as Sandra Brockman, and in recent times she’s dazzled in roles for Unicorn: Warriors Eternal, Doctors, and Kate and Koji.
Annabel Binky – Lisa Ambalavanar
In The Muckles, ambitious actress Annabel is behind Charlie’s bride who endures his belittling banter during a photoshoot.
Ambalavanar, notable for her portrayal of Alia Hanif in Doctors and Mia in ’s The A List, was also behind Jinx in 2022’s Titans.

Charlie Chumley – Nick Helm
Meanwhile, Nick Helm plays Charlie Chumley, who meets a grim fate as this week’s casualty on Father Brown, succumbing to strychnine poisoning live on air.
Helm is renowned for his stint as Andy in Uncle on Three and roles in The Bystanders, Funny Valentines, The Last Caveman and The Reluctant Landlord.
Kenneth Clay – Ian Hallard
Kenneth Clay is the driving force, producer, and “local boy” behind The Muckles, bringing authenticity to the Kembleford set.
Actor Ian Hallard has appeared in Endeavour, The Power, and The Crown, with West End credits that include playing Michael in The Boys in the Band revival.
