Stabbing in London
A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after a stabbing in south London on Thursday morning.
Met Police Officers rushed to Green Wrythe Lane after being called at 11.30am.
They attended alongside London Ambulance Service (LAS) paramedics and the London Air Ambulance.
Emergency responders found the boy suffering serious stab wounds. He was rushed him to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
No arrests have been made in connection with the brutal knife attack, our sister site reports, but police have said enquiries are ongoing and an investigation has been launched.

The road was cordoned off yesterday but has since been reopened. Police have issued a public appeal for any witnesses with information.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 11:30hrs on Thursday, 30 January to reports of a stabbing in Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton. Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
“A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with stab injuries. He remains there in a critical condition. Enquiries remain ongoing.”
Officers are appealing to anyone with information to call 101 and quote CAD 2789/30Jan. The public can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
