is undertaking a second surprise engagement today, arriving at a textiles manufacturer in South Wales.
Arriving at the site with a beaming smile, Kate said: “I’ve been looking forward to it, I’ve heard all about your brand.”
The princess is visiting Corgi, which focuses on producing socks and knitwear.
Her visit comes after .
Corgi was founded in 1892 when it made and supplied socks to miners in the nearby Amman Valley. In the 1960’s, the company added knitwear to its range of products and started to export internationally.

During her visit to Corgi, Kate will spend time with the design team, hearing about the company’s creative and design process, including how they work in partnership with world-leading brands on collaborative lines.
She will then go out onto the factory floor to meet members of the production team, hear about their work and see some of the technical processes in action.
