Britain could be blanketed with in just hours, as show several areas at risk.
According to forecasting from WX Charts, the northwest and northeast of England, as well as large parts of Scotland, are in the firing line.
If it does arrive, the snow will hit the Highlands of Scotland and the Central Belt as the clock ticks over from January 30 to January 31.
There may also be a dusting in northern Lancashire and Cumbria around midnight.

WX Charts forecasts that snowfall will move southward towards Manchester, Cheshire, Derbyshire, and Staffordshire towards 3am.
