Manchester United have lowered their asking price for Alejandro Garnacho as Napoli prepare to reignite their pursuit, according to reports. With just four days remaining in the January transfer window, the Serie A club are weighing up one final swoop to lure Garnacho to Naples.
The 20-year-old winger’s future has been a hot topic throughout the month, with joining Napoli at the forefront of transfer links.
United are reportedly open to cashing in as pushes to raise funds to comply with the ‘s Profit and Sustainability Rules and Financial Fair Play.
The Red Devils haven’t been willing to accept a cut-price fee, though, holding firm on their £59million demand for the talented academy graduate.

The report states that Napoli are ready to try and sign Garnacho again in the next 24 hours before moving on to alternative targets if they’re unsuccessful.
United are said to now want £46m to part ways with the Argentine – a £13m drop from their initial valuation – which offers Antonio Conte hope of snapping up his priority target.
Conte is understood to have held direct talks with Garnacho after pinpointing the starlet as his chosen candidate to succeed Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

United rejected the Italian outfit’s opening Garnacho offer, thought to be worth around £40m, which is no longer as considerably lower than their desired fee as it was.
However, the report adds that Napoli face a new hurdle in the form of the United No. 17’s wage demands.
Garnacho is said to want in excess of £3.7m per season if he is to walk away from Old Trafford – a significant increase from his current £1.5m annual salary.
Napoli have reportedly attempted to find leeway with Garnacho’s camp but haven’t yet had success, and there is now a growing feeling that they are running out of time.
United are described as “flexible” when it comes to their valuation, but the player’s financial demands could be too strong a financial sticking point.
United boss has remained coy on Garnacho’s future beyond the February 3 deadline, recently admitting: “Nobody knows [whether Garnacho will stay]. Anything can happen.
“He is improving in every department of the game, how he recovers, understanding the game when he defends. I am trying to find the best position for him.
“Today [against Fulham], he played a bit open, not so inside. We need guys who can play one-on-one. I don’t know what is going to happen.”
