Hugh Jackman has helped make Dannielynn Birkhead’s unique Christmas wish come true.
Weeks after her father, Larry Birkhead, surprised the 18-year-old with tickets to see the actor on Broadway, he shared that she was able to meet Jackman in real life.
In a recent video montage Larry Birkhead posted on their joint father-daughter Instagram, the daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith is all smiles as she greets Jackman outside Radio City Music Hall.
“From a cardboard cutout Christmas dream, to reality. Dannielynn got to see @thehughjackman ‘s incredible sold-out show ‘Hugh Jackman Live: From New York With Love’ at the iconic @radiocitymusichall,” Larry Birkhead captioned the Jan. 26 post.
Larry Birkhead added that the show was packed “with hits and high-energy performances that covered Hugh’s award-winning career in film, stage and beyond.”
He shared that after Jackman’s performance, the actor greeted fans, including his daughter, outside in the freezing New York cold.
“Dannielynn was one of those fans that got an autograph and a hug. Hugh told her he was watching her enthusiasm during his performance of ‘A Million Dreams’ from the film, ‘The Greatest Showman,’” the proud dad wrote. “She was extremely excited and a bit in disbelief, when she got to actually meet him after all.”
He added that Jackman’s “kindness and awesome performance really does prove that he is in fact, ‘The Greatest Showman.’”
He signed off the sweet life update by thanking Jackman, writing, “Thanks Hugh for your kindness and making dreams come true!”
On Dec. 27, Larry Birkhead revealed on Instagram that all his daughter wanted for Christmas “was Hugh Jackman under the tree.” Since he wasn’t able to provide that, he did “the next best thing” and bought her tickets to the actor’s new one-man show, as well as a cardboard cutout of the “Deadpool & Wolverine” star.
Jackman kicked off his “From New York, with Love” show on Jan. 24, and it appears that the Birkheads were among the first to see his performance.
