Ingredients

Four pork chops

Half tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil

Half tsp dried oregano

Half tsp paprika

Half tsp mustard powder

Half tsp onion powder

25g parmesan, finely grated

Cooked greens and peas, to serve (optional)

Method

Preheat the air fryer to 190C. Place the pork chops in a bowl, drizzle with oil, and rub it evenly over the surface.

Next, mix together oregano, paprika, mustard powder, onion powder, parmesan, half teaspoon of salt, and half teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper.

Sprinkle this seasoning mix generously over the pork chops, making sure they’re fully coated.

Transfer the seasoned chops into the air-fryer basket. Cook for five minutes (you may need to work in batches depending on your air-fryer’s size).

Flip the chops and cook for another five to eight minutes, or until fully cooked. Cooking time may vary based on thickness and whether the chops are bone-in.

Check the internal temperature with a probe; it should read 75C at the thickest part. Serve with wilted greens and peas, if desired.
