is a fashion icon with her style recognised around the globe. Her taste is undeniably timeless, and she is known for her flawless silhouettes, so it is no surprise that Kate has caught the watchful eye of one of the most influential women in fashion.

It has been reported that Anna Wintour who is the editor-in-chief of Vogue has made a personal appeal to the Princess and reached out following her recent cancer battle. Last year, the 43-year-old was treatment forcing her to step back from public duties.

Kate inspired many after she went public with her health condition which has since earned her. According to the the fashion editor has offered Kate to get involved and be in charge of the fashion choices and editorial decisions of the interview.

A source told the Mail on Sunday that Ms Wintour reached out via an intermediary to offer Kate that she features on both UK and US covers. They claimed: “The princess has come a long way since that first cover. She’s a global fashion icon but she is so much more.

“Her brave battle against cancer while raising three young children in the public eye makes her a role model to millions. Her story would be an inspiration to so many women going through what she has gone through.”

They continued: “She would get to choose which covers she would feature on but the UK and the US would be a given.”

Kate has already appeared on the cover of Vogue – back in 2016 she took part in the edition marking the magazine’s 100th birthday.

Earlier this month, Princess Kate returned to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and revealed she received her treatment there. The Princess of Wales spoke with medical staff and patients and was reflective about her journey she has been on the past year.

She was heard saying “it is a relief to now be in remission” from cancer and “is “looking forward to a fulfilling year”.

It is understood that following her diagnosis back in February she completed “preventative chemotherapy” in September.

Following the moving visit, the Princess took to social media and signed the post with “C” thanking staff at the Royal Marsden Hospital for her “exceptional” care.

She wrote: “I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year.”

“My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.

“We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional.

“In my new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, my hope is that by supporting groundbreaking research and clinical excellence, as well as promoting patient and family wellbeing, we might save many more lives, and transform the experience of all those impacted by cancer,” she continued.

Before adding: “’It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal.

“I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.”
