look set to reignite their interest in winger after missing out on first-choice alternative Karim Adeyemi, according to reports. The giants had diverted their focus towards the forward to replace Khvicha Kvarateskhelia.
Paris Saint-Germain completed a £59million deal for the 23-year-old Georgian earlier this month, leaving Antonio Conte scouring the market for a replacement.
Napoli identified Garnacho as their top target to fill the void left by their talisman, but United rejected an initial £40m bid.
The Red Devils are believed to value their academy graduate at around £60m, an asking price which prompted Napoli to move on to Adeyemi.
Talks were ongoing over a potential £34m deal for the Germany international, clearing the path for to launch a pursuit of Garnacho.
However, Fabrizio Romano that Adeyemi doesn’t want to leave Dortmund midway through the season and, therefore, will be staying at the Westfalenstadion.
It’s claimed that his decision has reverted the Partenopei’s interest towards Garnacho, for whom haven’t yet made an official offer.
The 20-year-old winger is reportedly open to leaving United before the February 3 deadline, having been frustrated with his playing time at the start of ‘s reign.

Garnacho was a crucial player under but didn’t start for seven successive games before returning to the team for the FA Cup win at on January 12.
There are concerns over whether the Argentina international fits into Amorim’s system, which uses two narrow inside forwards/attacking midfielders and two wing-backs.
Amorim has admitted that he’s attempting to find the best way to use Garnacho in his 3-4-3 system and couldn’t rule out a January exit.
After Sunday’s win against Fulham, he said: “Nobody knows [whether Garnacho will stay]. Anything can happen.
“He is improving in every department of the game, how he recovers, understanding the game when he defends.
“I am trying to find the best position for him. Today, he played a bit open, not so inside. We need guys who can play one vs one. I don’t know what is going to happen.”
It remains to be seen whether Napoli will test United’s resolve again in the coming days, with the January deadline bearing down.
But the club’s hierarchy are holding firm on their £60m valuation, and he will stay put until the summer if it isn’t met.
