Injuries to Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies have rocked Spurs and forced Postecoglou into a makeshift back four for several weeks.
Giving fringe and young players a much-needed break could be the addition of David Hencko.

Spurs’ current crop of wingers, , Richarlison and Kulusevski, all want to play in central areas and have struggled to break down set defences.
A tricky wide man in the mould of Tyler Dibling would add some versatility to their attacks, though the bottom side may feel that they have little chance of avoiding the drop without their breakout star.
Southampton want £55m for the England youth international, according to , though that figure would likely drop if they get relegated.
Bringing Dibling in alongside Gomes and Hancko would provide Postecoglou with the squad he needs in order to stop the rot. And perhaps crucially, there would be no excuses if Spurs do not spring back up the table.
