The royal, who has resided in the US since 2020, typically only spends a few days in the UK. During his solo appearance at King Charles’s Coronation in 2023, Harry flew home to the US after just 25 hours in his home country.
After his father publicly revealed his cancer diagnosis last year, Harry – who is said to have been “panic-stricken” after hearing the news – travelled to the UK to spend time with King Charles.
Their meeting is said to have lasted less than one hour before the Duke of Sussex travelled to the airport to begin his journey back to his wife and children in America.

His visit in February 2024 was reportedly “challenging” for Harry, with him said to have found the visit “tough” without and their children by his side. According to Us Weekly at the time, Harry’s decision to cut the trip short was “primarily due to the discomfort he feels in that environment” and the negative press that surrounded his visit.
