Montreal is getting a jump on its tourism rivals with Canada’s tallest urban bungee platform.

Its founder, Samuel Cadotte, who introduced Canada’s first zipline a decade ago, said: “We’re thrilled to offer Montrealers and visitors alike an adventure like no other. With Montreal Bungee, we’re bringing the excitement of bungee jumping into the heart of the city, offering accessibility and unforgettable scenery for everyone.”

Set to open this spring, Montreal Bungee will operate from March through December.

“This innovative addition cements the Old Port as a premier recreational destination,” said Benoit Renaud, a spokesperson for the Old Port, while Quebec Tourism Minister Caroline Proulx said it will give visitors another reason to stay longer and create lasting memories.

Yves Lalumière, of Tourism Montreal, said the new attraction has helped position the city as a “must-visit destination” for thrill-seekers.
