Former star has come under scrutiny this week, causing him to pull out of the show’s tour as well as other projects. It comes following reports of him making inappropriate comments to Janette Manrara while working on the show.
Today it was announced that the Welsh opera singer has agreed with the to “take some time out” from his Radio Wales show and the live tour “to prioritise my wellbeing”.
Now a legal expert has said that inappropriate behaviour is “common” in showbiz but it is “not a good look”.
, head of the workplace bullying and harassment team at Bolt Burdon Kemp, said: “This is the latest of many allegations of inappropriate behaviour on , and it really is not a good look. Sadly, it’s a common theme in the world of TV.”
“Thankfully the right action is being taken this time, with Evans being axed from the tour,” they continued. “But it is clear that this should have been nipped in the bud much sooner, as Evans received repeated warnings about his behaviour prior to this.

“I specialise in bullying and harassment at work claims, and see time again management dragging their feet instead of dealing with claims straight away.”
The legal expert continued: “Strictly has many lessons to learn from this, and evidently needs to do much more to stamp out unacceptable behaviour.
“It needs to establish and implement clear policies that outline what constitutes harassment and how it will be dealt with if it occurs.

“It needs to provide adequate training to those involved in the show so that they know how to recognise and report harassment. If the show wants to have a future, the welfare of everyone involved has to be a top priority.
“Hopefully we will start to see lessons being learned very quickly as the sort of behaviour described in the latest reports is not acceptable in any form of workplace.”
Wynne took to on Tuesday evening (January 28) to apologise for the offence his behaviour had caused after he was caught making an inappropriate sexual remark during a photocall for the tour in Birmingham.
