Two new suitors have come forward for outcast , according to reports.

And one potential escape route from Old Trafford would reunite Rashford with former Red Devils manager . Now in charge of Fenerbahce, Mourinho’s Turkish giants have reportedly sounded out a late-January move for the 27-year-old.

According to , Fener and Galatasaray have both emerged as possible destinations for Rashford, who has been omitted from 10 of United’s last 11 matchday squads. After leaving him out at on Sunday night, manager said he would rather put 63-year-old goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital on the bench than a player who does not try their hardest in training.

Those comments will inevitably push Rashford even closer to the exit door, even though his options appear to be dwindling. AC Milan were interested but they have now signed Kyle Walker on loan from , filling up their quota of non-EU players.

Borussia Dortmund could be priced out of a move for the out-of-form forward unless United are prepared to cover a higher proportion of his salary. And Barcelona will only be in a position to strike if they free up space on their wage bill.

The adds that interest from Turkey is still at an early stage, but a move to the Super Lig and a reunion with Mourinho would raise more than a few eyebrows.

Rashford was a regular fixture in the team during Mourinho’s stint at Old Trafford, but the Portuguese was open about his shortcomings in the years following.

“As a target man, as a number nine, I don’t think he has the sort of goals that the top striker has,” Mourinho explained during an appearance on Sky Sports. “For me, he can’t get better as a number nine.

“He can get better playing from the left side, playing with another one as a target man but for him to be the target man in matches where United are dominant and playing against defensive teams and low blocks, I think it’s difficult for him.”

Rashford has not played for United since December 12 and the signs of strain in his relationship with Amorim are only increasing. But he insisted, before the turn of the year, that any possible exit from his boyhood club would be handled with class.

“When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’,” he told journalist . “You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about . That’s me as a person.

“If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse. I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me.”
