This chicken curry only takes 15 minutes to cook from scratch
Cooking on a weekday can be a struggle as no one wants to spend hours in the kitchen after working all day, but you can quickly make a home cooked meal with the right .
Kathryn Doherty, a and founder of , has shared that her chicken curry is “freaking delicious” and only takes 15 minutes to make.
She said: “It’s one of my family’s favourites. We love some Indian flavors and cuisine, and this is a super simple, shortcut version to make at home.”
It only takes five minutes to prepare this dish and takes 10 minutes to cook so you can have a tasty dinner without any fuss or effort.
What is fantastic about this curry is that everything is also cooked in one dish as well, so you can also save time on the washing u[ afterwards.

How to make quick chicken curry
Ingredients:
- 340g of cooked chicken (you can use leftovers if you wish)
- 175g of plain Greek yogurt (non fat, two percent or five percent fat)
- One small yellow onion (chopped)
- Two cloves of garlic (minced)
- One can of chopped tomatoes (drained)
- 75ml of chicken broth
- Salt and pepper
- A quarter teaspoon of cayenne pepper (optional)
- Two teaspoons of extra-virgin olive oil
To serve (optional):
- Parsley
- Cilanto
- Naan bread or rice
It only takes five minutes to prepare this dish
To begin, pour the olive oil into a large skillet pan and set to a medium heat on the stove.
Chop the onion, add it to the pan and cook for five minutes until it has softened. Crush the garlic and then also cook it in the pan for 30 seconds.
Stir the curry powder, chopped tomatoes and chicken broth into the pan. Next, season the curry with salt and pepper (and cayenne pepper if you are using)
Bring the curry to a low simmer and cook for three more minutes until it has thickened slightly.
Add the cooked chicken and stir for two more minutes until the chicken is warmed through.
Turn the heat off the stove and mix in the Greek yoghurt until it is combined.
Sprinkle the parsley and cilantro over the top and your mouthwatering chicken curry is ready to serve.
