A 19-year-old man has died after his car was struck by a falling tree in Scotland as Storm Eowyn wreaked havoc across the UK.
The teenager was driving near Mauchline, East Ayrshire, in Scotland on Friday morning when the crash happened at around 6.45am.
He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, but sadly died on Saturday.
The teenager has not been named.
Sergeant Chris McColm of the Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died.”
