But what fans may be surprised to learn is that the mum-of-three also stretched her acting abilities in one surprising cameo role. Back in 2021, the ITV star appeared on alongside lead stars Neil Dudgeon and Nick Hendrix.
The TV star and self-confessed Midsomer Murders fans landed the gig on the show after she revealed to the acting veterans that she would “love” to make an appearance on the show.

Soon after, the stars and Phillip revealed to Holly that they had arranged for her to make a cameo – much to Holly’s delight. But despite being a loyal fans of the show, things didn’t go quite to plan for the TV personality.
Months after filming wrapped on the TV show, she admitted that it took her several takes to nail her line on the ITV crime drama.
During an appearance on This Morning, she told her co-star Sharon Marshall about Harry Redknapp’s upcoming guest stint on when she opened up about her appearance on the classic whodunit.
She admitted: “Well, you know, it wasn’t on take one, let’s put it that way. Or take two, or take ten! [It took] About 25 takes! I finally got the words out, but it’s fine.”
Her co-host at the time , who stepped back from the daytime show in 2022 – asked: “Did you have a lot to say?” to which she confessed: “One line!”
The studio soon erupted into laughter as Holly added: “I had a few scenes, but one line and I couldn’t get it out! But I had a really good day.”
Phillip couldn’t resist further teasing his co-star, adding: “Do you think you’ll get invited back?” to which Holly confessed: “I don’t think so…”
In July, the presenter delighted fans by saring a sneak peek at her role on the long-running drama. Taking to , she shared a snap of herself dressed in a pink floral summer dress and elevated her look with a pair of clear high heels as she held up a slate to the camera.
The presenter styled her golden tresses into loose beachy waves and added a full face of glowy makeup as she beamed to the camera.
She captioned the post: “Today is the day… @officialmidsomer excitement levels off the chart!” It didn’t take long before her loyal legion of fans flooded to the comments to congratulate her on her exciting role.
