dazzled viewers once again as it hit our screens this evening (Sunday, January 26) for the third week of the contest. The remaining contestants showcased their skills with routines inspired by iconic movies for the much-anticipated Movie Week.

Presenting duo , 43, and , 47, certainly didn’t hold back in the fashion department, looking nothing short of spectacular for the special episode.

In a magical tribute to the night’s theme, the favourites transformed into Wicked characters Glinda and Elphaba. Holly was every inch the fairytale princess in her breathtaking pink ballgown featuring a daring neckline, complete with a tiara and wand.

Meanwhile, Stephen fully embraced his inner sorcerer with a black witch’s hat, emerald green face paint, and a sharp black suit.

Viewers of the beloved ITV skating show were amazed by Holly and Stephen’s striking attire and voiced their opinions on X/Twitter.

One user exclaimed: “I’ve not watched Dancing on Ice, but Stephen and Holly as Elphaba and Glinda are iconic.”

Another remarked: “Never thought Dancing On Ice would be where I’d see a gender-swapped Elphaba from Wicked.”

The buzz continued on where users couldn’t help but react to the duo’s outfits. One commented: “They looked amazing! Holly looks just like a princess as Glinda.”

Another observed: “Stephen, you look fantastic. Hope the paint scrubs off well,” and a third shared: “Holly you look absolutely stunning beautiful.”

Meanwhile, another noted: “Stephen Mulhern looks quite good green. Holly makes a lovely Glinda. Not pleased that there is no skate off again. It’s not clear whether this is a permanent decision or not.”

The show faced a setback as it was announced just hours before airing that comedian Josh Jones had to exit the competition due to an injury.

The 32-year-old from Failsworth fell in rehearsals, injuring his ankle, which he disclosed during the programme, reports .

The official Dancing on Ice account broke the news about Josh’s departure, stating: “Josh Jones sustained an injury during rehearsals and has had to withdraw from Dancing on Ice.

“Josh and Tippy’s partnership will be greatly missed. We will be helping to support Josh and wish him well with his recovery.”

It comes after Dame Sarah Storey waved goodbye to the show due to a severe injury. The Paralympian took to to share pictures of her leg wrapped in a cast following a fracture to her left ankle prior to her appearance on the show.
