shares a close fatherly bond with his eldest son Prince George, with the pair having been spotted on numerous occasions attending events just the two of them.
Over recent years, William, 42, has been seen taking George, 11, – Aston Villa.
The Prince of Wales confirmed that George supported Aston Villa alongside him, something that is quite common for a father and son duo.
However, while William is believed not to have had a hand in this decision, the future King did confirm that
During an informal meet-and-greet with Aston Villa fans at a Wetherspoons in Birmingham last week, William said that he stopped George from becoming a Chelsea supporter, and that he would stop his other children Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, from doing the same.

Villa fan Darren Johnson, who spent time chatting to William, said: “George is a Villa fan, and we asked about the rest of the children.
“He said he wouldn’t force a football team onto them as long as it wasn’t Chelsea because all the people around him are Chelsea fans.”
While Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are believed to enjoy football, with the two siblings snapped by their mum Princess Kate they have never been seen accompanying to a game.
This is likely to be as a result of the pair being younger than George, with William expected to take his two youngest out with him too as they get older.

The former rugby player said last year: “George really loves his football.
“I’ve played numerous times in the garden with him. He’s passionate about Aston Villa too. Wherever he is he’ll sit down and watch that game.”
