Meghan Markle urged to do one thing to make people ‘warm to her’

has been urged to post more of her children and dogs on her social media to encourage people to “warm to her”.

The royal, 43, surprised fans with her return to on New Year’s Day, and with just three posts uploaded so far, a PR expert has encouraged her to use her platform to her advantage.

Paul MacKenzie-Cummins, founder of reputation management agency , has said that posting content of Prince Archie and Princess Liillbet – as well as her dogs – could help to rebuild her connection to the public.

Speaking to , he added: “Content is key, but the right content. Images and reels of their children will always do well as will those of the family dog too.”

He added: “The reason why so many commercials feature an animal is because people love and warm to them. Not to mention reflecting positively on her character will likely enamour Mehgan to more people at a time when she is trying to rebuild her brand.”

He also encouraged Meghan to consider posting more often, saying: “It is a sound move by the former Royal. This is a process that will take time, and the greater the frequency of her posts the sooner momentum can grow.

“By inviting people into her world and revealing elements of her personality we might not have previously seen will see her win more fans and fewer detractors.”

Meghan’s most recent post was a heartbreaking tribute to her late dog, Guy. The adorable video featured sweet clips of Guy, whom Meghan adopted in 2015 – as well as pictures and clips of her children with the beloved pet.

As well as the sweet picture, as she sings along with her mum in one clip.

Copying Meghan, Lilibet – who was born in America in 2021 – can be heard saying: “Guy, yes we do, we love you Guy.”

Lilibet’s brother Archie’s sweet voice can also be heard in the reel. In one clip, the protective five-year-old expresses his concern that Guy was on the verge of falling. He told his mum, “He might fall.”

Reassuring her son, Meghan can be heard saying, “He’s not gonna fall, don’t you worry Mama has him. Thank you for being such a good boy.”
