Ruben Amorim has a big decision to make on Andre Onana.
travel to on Sunday night looking to improve a woeful run of results at the start of reign. Last weekend’s 3-1 home defeat against was United’s sixth in nine league games, winning just twice in that period.
But trips to London haven’t treated the Red Devils kindly in recent years, a trend which Amorim must fix if his side are to rise higher than 13th.
Express Sport runs through the visitors’ likely line-up, including three changes from that torrid afternoon at Old Trafford against the Seagulls.
Man Utd predicted XI vs Fulham (3-4-3)
Goalkeeper – Onana
Altay Bayindir deserves to retain his place as United’s goalkeeper, but Amorim will likely offer Andre Onana a chance to redeem himself.
Defence – Mazraoui, Maguire, Martinez
Amorim didn’t speak too positively about and Leny Yoro’s fitness after Thursday’s Rangers win.
Noussair Mazraoui missed that Europa League clash as a precaution but could return to the right-centre-back role at Fulham.
Harry Maguire replaced De Ligt at half-time midweek and will likely start at the heart of Amorim’s back three in the capital.
Lisandro Martinez helped rescue United with a pinpoint cross-field assist for ‘ stoppage-time winner against Rangers. He should keep his place.

Midfield – Amad, Ugarte, Mainoo, Dalot
Amad is more effective in the attack, but with Mazraoui set to cover in defence, the 22-year-old may have to cover at right-wing-back again.
Diogo Dalot isn’t suited to the left-wing-back role and won’t be playing there much longer once Luke Shaw returns from his latest injury – and Patrick Dorgu potentially arrives from Lecce.
Amorim shuffled his midfield on Thursday, offering Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo some rest before introducing both at the same time in the second half.
His first-choice duo will return to the starting line-up at Craven Cottage, with Toby Collyer and Christian Eriksen dropping to the bench.
Attack – Fernandes, Garnacho, Hojlund
Europa League hero Fernandes slotted into midfield against Rangers to accommodate the leggy Eriksen, but he should be more advanced this time around.
Alejandro Garnacho was among United’s top performers a few days ago and is in line to start for the fourth time in five matches as transfer speculation rumbles on in the background.
Amorim doesn’t seem to know his best striker at this moment in time, with Joshua Zirkzee taking the mantle in recent weeks.
However, Hojlund is well rested after a minimal role in Thursday’s ‘Battle of Britain’ and could get an opportunity to end his goal drought.
