Get 20 percent off the Ring Battery Video Doorbell from Argos when you use the code RING20 at checkout.

Hurry, as this offer ends on January 2028, 2025.

Right now, that came out in 2024. It’s hiding in plain sight, but when you visit the page on the Argos website, at first it looks like it costs £99.99, the device’s RRP.

But look closer and you can instantly slash 20 percent off the asking price simply by entering the code RING20 when you checkout. There will be a box at one stage in the purchase process to enter the code, which will .

That’s a solid price for a smart doorbell with tons of features. This includes an easy installation process and a Ring Doorbell that is battery powered, so you have to occasionally bring it inside to charge but means you don’t have to hook it up to the mains or hardwire it into an older traditional doorbell system to make it work.

You can view the live scene outside your door thanks to 1440p resolution HD video streaming and even talk to whoever is there thanks to Ring’s Two-Way Talk tech, so you can say when you’ll be back or ask a delivery person to put your package in a particular safe place.

The doorbell works over Wi-Fi so you need to connect it to your network via the app that is available for iPhone or Android. A motion detector can alert you via smartphone notification when there’s someone near the doorbell, and the device is hardy enough to continue to function outdoors come rain or shine.

You get a mounting bracket in the box plus the right tools and hardware needed to install it on the outside of your home, though you may also need a drill depending on the material you want to attach it to (brick, for example).

It comes with the manufacturer’s one year warranty and also works with Alexa. This is worth bearing in mind as this doorbell doesn’t come with a chime device, so on its own will only ping your smartphone. If you want it to ring, you might consider buying an Amazon Echo device (Amazon owns Ring) such as the Echo Pop speaker. These small smart speakers can be connected to your Ring Doorbell via the Ring app to act as a chime so you can audibly hear a chime sound in the home when someone presses the bell.

You’ll have to act fast to take advantage of this 20 percent off offer as it ends on January 28, 2025.
