We’re only a month into 2025 and there’s plenty of blockbusters to look forward to this year. Now OLBG has polls 2000 UK adults to determine the Top 10 most anticipated movies according to British film fans. Deadpool and Wolverine came top in last year’s poll and was the second highest-grossing movie worldwide, taking over $1.3 billion at the box office just behind Inside Out 2 on almost $1.7 billion. 10. How to Train Your Dragon (June 13)
Banking on the nostalgic box office success of Disney, Dreamworks is following in the Mouse House’s footsteps with its first live-action remake of one of its animated classics. This reboot of How to Train Your Dragon includes Gerald Butler reprising his role as Hiccup’s father, Stoick the Vast, from the original trilogy.

Talking of Disney live-action remakes, the latest is a reimagining of the studio’s very first feature-length animation.
8. The Naked Gun (August 1)
The fourth film in the action comedy franchise sees Liam Neeson play the son of Leslie Nielsen’s Detective Frank Drebin. Co-starring Pamela Anderson, the upcoming Naked Gun reboot’s story was written by Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane.
7. The Fantastic Four: First Steps (July 25)
What many Marvel fans are hoping will be a return to form for the MCU is the Fantastic Four’s debut into the Disney franchise. Set in an alternate universe’s retro-futuristic 1960s, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s First Family take on Ralph Ineson’s Galactus ahead of 2026’s Avengers: Doomsday.
