host has opened up about her close bond with stars from a rival daytime show.

The blonde bombshell – who teamed up with on their campaign last month – first soared to stardom after she won the 11th series of Big Brother back in 2010.

The TV presenter won over the hearts of the nation on the reality show, and quickly became a staple on the small screen.

In 2019, she joined the ITV show as a competition announcer, but it didn’t take long before she became a permanent fixture on the show as a relief co-presenter in 2021.

Since then, the mum-of-one has been a regular face on the long-running show, sharing hosting duties with a slew of broadcasters including Dermot O’Leary, Alison Hammond, Cat Deeley, and to name but a few.

It didn’t take long before the TV favourite became close friends with her fellow This Morning co-stars, especially her fellow Big Brother star Alison Hammond.

The pair have become so close in fact that they often celebrate Christmas day together. She told us: “I’ve been round to hers, she’s been round to mine and I’m not joking, she can put on a spread.

“Oh, she can cook. She’s a really good cook. And her Christmas dinners, she puts a Jamaican twist on them, so she’ll do a curried goat and stuff like that, it’s lovely.

“I mean she’s been doing panto for the past two years so I’m waiting for my invite but doing panto is a lot of hard work so it is a bit unfair.”

But now, Josie has revealed that she has also formed strong friendships with other stars from rival ITV daytime shows. Josie explained: “Oh I love Loose Women and I love all the girls because over the years they’re really championed me.

“It’s like being a part of a big family, even Lorraine [Kelly]. I went on Lorraine on Monday and she is [lovely]. When you’re a part of the ITV family with all the girls, it’s like being part of a sisterhood.

“We all really, really champion each other, it’s just beautiful, it’s just so nice, I can’t even describe it to you. You just feel a part of something really special. But I mean, that Lorraine. I love her, she’s just so lovely.”

It comes after the ITV presenter teamed up with First Bus on their Moving the Everyday campaign, which aims to highlight the role buses have in bringing local communities together.

She spent the day on the bus in her hometown of Yate, Bristol, meeting everyday heroes from all over the country. Speaking about her day, she gushed: “I had the most wholesome day I’ve had in years and years. It was lovely. It was lovely because you forgot how much of a vital role the bus plays in the community.

“I actually caught the bus around Bath the other day and I met some real characters. I just want to give a shout out to Dianne that I met on the bus, I loved her.

“I did my old bus route through the town back when I used to sell car and home insurance in Bristol city centre and I just remember it was such a sense of community for everybody.”
