fans have demanded an ‘ultimatum’ from the BBC as the hit show’s third season reaches its epic conclusion. The final will determine whether a Traitor will walk away with the entire prize fund or if the Faithful players will be victorious.
The television series has already delivered plenty of suspense and drama, but one die-hard fan has suggested a new demand for the 2026 season.
Commenting on ‘s latest post, a follower typed: “Claudia, can you PLEASE give an ultimatum to the producers that 2026 needs to be a week longer to get us through the whole of January, otherwise you go on strike?! Do the Lord’s work and make it happen!!!! @claudiawinkle.” [sic]
Currently, the show format airs only three episodes a week – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday – before taking five days off and resuming the following week.
Each series has made 12 episodes, but the first season aired in December 2022. This changed the following year when series two aired in January and has stayed with the same dates for 2025.

Leanne is one of the Faithful players still left in the final
However, shortly after the recruitment, Minah was suspected by her fellow players and banished from the castle. Charlotte then recruited 20-year-old Freddie in a brutal twist—only to vote him out less than 24 hours later.
It is up to the Traitors to kill off a faithful each day without causing suspicion within the group. Each day, the cast completes a series of challenges with a chance to win an immunity shield to avoid being murdered by the Traitors that evening.
Later in the day, the group congregates around the round table and votes off one contestant who they suspect to be a Traitor, each sharing their theories on why.
Regardless of their role, the eliminated contestant is forced to reveal whether they are a Traitor or Faithful to the cast before leaving the castle for good.
In today’s final, Charlotte is the last Traitor. Alexander, Francesca, Jake, and Leanne stand in her way of the entire prize fund.
The Traitors airs on One and iPlayer at 8.30pm.
