have revealed when the is set for an Arctic blast next month, with below freezing temperatures and expected early next month.
The lowest temperatures, maps generated by WXCharts suggest, will be felt in the west of the UK.
Charts suggest that , parts of the southwest of , most of , and the Lake District in northwest England will experience the lowest temperatures on February 4.
A swathe of Scotland, from Castle Douglas to the Highlands, is also covered in darker blue – suggesting they are set for temperatures as low as -4C that day.
Elsewhere, chilly conditions are due in more or less the entirety of the UK.

Places between Liverpool and Southport, though, are due to be relatively warmer, according to maps, as well as London and a large section of the south east.
Charts suggest snow is due to fall in Wales. Large areas of the UK above Preston are also set for wintery precipitation.
The has issued a long-range forecast for January 28 to February 6, in which it acknowledged an unsettled period is to affect the majority of the country.
It reads: “This looks like being and unsettled period across much of the country, but especially for northern and western parts.
“On Tuesday another widely unsettled day is expected with showers or some longer spells of rain, but also some drier and brighter interludes.”

“Still windy but less so than over the previous few days. Through the rest of the period the strongest winds and heaviest rain will tend to move to the northwestern UK while the south may see more in the way of drier weather.
“Temperatures overall are likely to end up being around or slightly above average, though wind and rain will make it feel chilly, and brief cool spells with some overnight frost are likely between weather systems.”
Later in February, temperatures are set to be generally mild at first, with periods of rain, showers and strong winds alternating with short-lived brighter and cooler interludes, forecasters predict.
