ScottishPower is giving customers an “unlimited” discount of up to £120 off as part of a rewards scheme.
, which serves around five million households and businesses in the UK, is giving away the freebie every time a customer refers a friend.
Customers simply need to share a unique referral link with their friends or family, and every time someone uses the link to sign up to , you will both share £120 worth of credit.
It means that you and your friend will both get an equal share of the reward, amounting to £60 credit each.
ScottishPower says there is no limit to the number of friends you can refer, so the more people you get to sign up, the greater your reward.
If you get five friends to sign up using the unique referral link, you’ll earn yourself £300 worth of energy credit – or £600 between all of you in total.
In addition, if you get as many as 10 people to sign up, your individual reward will be £600 worth of credit – or £1,200 between all of you.
The £60 credit is given when your friend switches both their gas and electricity to ScottishPower, so if they only switch one of these then the reward is slightly less at £30 credit each.
Your friend has to have been on supply with ScottishPower for at least 28 days before both of your accounts are credited and you’ll see this added in your online account and on your bill.
