Fiona Bruce sparked outrage with her behaviour on Question Time
presenter sparked backlash as she was accused of “taking over” the political debate show during a heated episode.
She welcomed leader of the House of Commons Lucy Powell MP; senior Conservative politician David Davis MP; green energy industrialist Dale Vince; and writer and broadcaster Matthew Parris to the show to discuss the biggest political issues of the week.
But as Fiona repeatedly interjected during heated debates, frustrated viewers took to social media to rage that it’s “not the Fiona Bruce Show”.
One said: “Fiona Bruce is a genuine pain in the a*se, absolute s**t host. Heard more from her than the guests in nearly 15mins…”
Another asked: “When did #bbcqt stop being about members of an audience ask questions to a panel and become a platform for Fiona Bruce to offer her opinions and ask other questions of the panel.”

A third chimed in: “Is this Question time or is it the Fiona Bruce show? No one else gets the chance to speak. She is supposed to moderate not talk over everyone. It’s so annoying.”
A fourth agreed: “Can someone please to a time study on the percentage of time, shovel gob, Fiona Bruce takes up on @bbcquestiontime banging her gums and constantly interrupting, over explaining and generally talking to f**king much Its not the Fiona Bruce Show!”
In the show, Fiona was forced to calm things down when an angry audience member raged at Dale Vince over comments he made about the -Gaza conflict.

As he claimed “America is behind the genocide”, an audience member chimed in: “Can I take issue with you over you saying that genocide is being caused in Palestine, how dare you say that? Genocide happened to six million Jews in the second world war, where is the equivalence?
“Did you mention the atrocities that happened on the 7th of October when Hamas invaded and killed innocent women, children. The bayonetted children.
“Do you understand that? How dare you say that? You are ill-informed my friend.”
His fury left Vince stuttering as he mumbled back an answer saying he was aware of the depraved attack but that since then “the brutalisation of Palestine has taken 150,000 live and injuries”.
