Cirium said Dublin, Edinburgh, Heathrow and Glasgow are the worst affected airports, although cancellations are more widespread.
In a warning to passengers, Jet2 said it is monitoring the UK forecast to ensure departing and arriving customers have the most up to date information.
The low-cost airline has confirmed it has made the “difficult decision” to reschedule some of its flights today due to the weather and has advised passengers to check their flight number on the website to see if it is disrupted. Those whose flights have been disrupted will be contacted directly by Jet2 with further details.
In an update to passengers, Jet2 said: “There are weather warnings in place and due to this, we have had to take the difficult decision to reschedule some flights on Friday 24th January 2025, to see if your flight is affected, please .
“If your flight is disrupted, we will be in contact with you direct via SMS and Email and post regular updates on this page of the Jet2.com website. We ask you to please ensure you check and update your contact information – you can check and amend this through the ‘manage my booking’ section on our website or app.
“If you are travelling with Jet2.com on other flights during this period, we are planning to operate these flights as close to schedule as possible, however, there may be some further disruption should the weather deteriorate.

A Jet2 spokesperson added: “We have rescheduled some flights due to depart from Belfast International, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Leeds Bradford Airport on Friday 24th January 2025, due to the adverse weather conditions.
“We have already contacted customers on these flights to let them know. We do of course apologise in advance for any disruption caused by these conditions, which are obviously completely outside our control.”
