has issued an emotional plea to fans about his beloved Diddly Squat Farm as Storm Eowyn batters the UK.

Red weather warnings have been implemented across Scotland and Northern Ireland, shutting down schools and postponing sports fixtures due to health and safety risks.

Bus services have also been temporarily suspended across Greater Glasgow, and people have been advised not to travel. The measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of passengers.

Down south, residents have experienced milder weather including down in Oxfordshire where the former presenter shared the effects of the strong weather on .

He jokingly captioned the post: “We are battling to survive the storm at Diddly Squat. Pray for us.” It didn’t take long before fans flooded to the comments to poke fun at his clip online.

One user quipped: “Ah, must be the eye of the storm” as another chuckled: “Nothing to do but batten down the hatches and pour a cold one I suppose… Good job you’ve got a decent supply! [winking emoji].”

A third echoed: “I mean you lost the tent in the last storm!” as a fourth chuckled: “You’re only just hanging on in there [heart emoji].”

It comes after the Grand Tour presenter blasted Prime Minister Kier Starmer amid his inheritance tax controversy. Writing to his 185.5k followers, he penned: “BACK A FARMER, NOT A STARMER.”

The broadcaster recently branded the PM a “nightmare” for farmers, after he joined a demonstration against Labour’s inheritance tax raid.

In a recent budget announcement by Chancello Rachel Reeves, it was clarified that no inheritance tax would be charged on combined business and agricultural assets valued under £1million.

For assets above £1million, a 50% tax relief would be applied, resulting in an effective tax rate of 20%, starting from April 2026, as reported by News.
