‘I went to the airport to catch the cheapest flight and this is where I ended up for £38’

If spontaneity is your thing then then this is your sign to follow in the steps of one brave soul who decided to head to the airport and hop on the of the day.

Content creator Shivani Khosla ventured to Stansted Airport at five in the morning, picked up a mate and thought it’d be cool if they just caught a flight.

In a video she posted on her , she shared with her followers that they made their way to London Stansted by car but ended up paying nearly half of the plane ticket price on an Uber, as Shivani explained in the video that her mate, Ishan had parked the car at a hotel, an hour’s .

She said: “So guys Ishan has found us parking yeah, one hour walk from the airport. And the coach time, the next coach time is in half an hour, so we’ve parked our car and we’re going to have to Uber it to the airport.”

However, the obstacles including the “twenty pounds on Uber” may have just been worth it as the pair bagged a trip to a “really warm country.”

The TikToker kept her viewers on edge, as she revealed at the end of the video the £38 flight was a trip to one of Spain’s top holiday destinations – Barcelona.

Ahead of the disclosure she also shared that the friends actually had a choice between two “cheapest” destinations, the other option being Frankfurt in Germany.

She said: “The cheapest flights were Frankfurt or this country, so obviously we picked the warm one.”

While the price might seem pretty decent, viewers in the comments gave the video creator a run for her money, dropping below the cheapest flights they’ve been on and some of the bargins were absolutely insane.

One person commented: “Paid £5 to get from London to Rome once.”

Another added: “Paid £3 Liverpool to Milan and £6 Manchester to Corfu.”

So next time you’re feeling bored, a random booking of the cheapest flight might just be your best bet.
