While revealing that his home is safe amid the ongoing Los Angeles-area wildfires, Chris Pratt shared that his ex-wife Anna Faris tragically lost hers.

“Alright, I’m going to go check out my house. Miraculously, it’s still standing,” the actor said in an Instagram video on Wednesday. “By the grace of God, we have four walls and a roof.”

In the clip, Pratt explained he was visiting his Pacific Palisades home for the first time after evacuating due to the fires that began earlier this month.

“It’s truly devastating, as you know. Silver lining is my house was saved, but at the same time, so many people’s houses were burned around us, and the community’s gone,” the Marvel actor continued. “My son’s school is gone. My son’s mom’s house burned down.”

The “Parks and Recreation” actor shares son Jack with Faris. The pair had Jack in 2012 and split in 2017 after eight years of marriage.

Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019 and has since welcomed three children with the author. Meanwhile, Faris married cinematographer Michael Barrett in 2021.

Pratt added in his video that “dozens of our friends lost their homes,” but didn’t specify any names.

“It’s just wild. We’re resilient, and we trust in God and consider it all a blessing. Thanks for all your prayers and support,” he continued.

Pratt wrapped up his video by telling his 45 million-plus followers it’s been “inspiring to see how our communities come together” while promising to give everyone more updates soon.

“It’s been a tough few weeks, but we’re resilient,” the actor captioned his post. “Praying for LA and all those impacted, we’ll get through this together. God bless.”

While Faris has not publicly commented about her home, a source close to the “Scary Movie” star told People earlier this month that “Anna and her family are safe and very grateful.”

HuffPost has reached out to Faris’ reps for comment.

Faris is among many celebrities, including Ben Affleck, Billy Crystal and Jamie Lee Curtis, who have been directly impacted by the Los Angeles-area wildfires. The wildfires have killed at least 28 people and ruined more than 14,000 homes and businesses since they ignited on Jan. 7.
