Birds of a Feather’s Darryl actor has very famous son-in-law

star Alun Lewis has a very famous son-in-law that not many people know about.

Alun played Darryl Stubbs in the sitcom alongside Linda Robson and Pauline Quirke from 1989 until 1994, as well as landing a role as Vic Windsor in from 1993 until 1998.

It seems music runs in his blood – Alun helped band The Woolpackers reach number five on the UK Singles Chart with their track Hillbilly Rock Hillbilly Roll in November 1996.

And his daughter is composer Amelia Warner, who has scored films including Mary Shelley and Mum’s List. She was even awarded the International Film Music Critics Association Award in 2018 for Breakthrough Composer of the Year.

Amelia also goes by her stage name Slow Moving Millie, and has released several EPs along with working with Fearne Cotton on her album Happy Place.

In her personal life, Amelia has been married twice – first to The Penguin star Colin Farrell, in a non-legally binding ceremony in 2001. Their relationship ended just four months later, but by 2013 Amelia had moved on with an even bigger star.

She tied the knot with Fifty Shades star Jamie Dornan at Orchardleigh Estate, going on to welcome three daughters with the actor – Dulcie, Elva and Alberta.

Jamie isn’t Alun’s only famous relative, however, as he was also brother to Hywel Bennett – known for his roles in The Family Way, Shelley and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, as well as for playing Jack Dalton in .
