BAFTA-winning series confirmed to return to BBC next month

The BAFTA-winning series will return to the , where viewers can also watch it as a boxset on the iPlayer from Wednesday, February 5.

Series two, written by and starring and Selin Hizli picks up from where the first series left off and could it see Nic get away with murder?

Lenny Rush, who won a for best male comedy performance and plays Daisy’s on-screen son, is also set to make a return. But will his character Ollie follow in Nic’s footsteps?

Other stars reprising their roles include Dustin Demri-Burns, David Fynn, Juliet Cowan, Phil Dunning, Georgie Glenn, Beatie Edney, Amanda Wilkin, Helen Ann Bauer, Marek and Karla Crome.

There are several guest stars set to make an appearance in series two including Chelsea Peretti, Tom Davis, Denise Black, Jamali Maddix, Kojey Radical, and Charlie Cooper (the first onscreen reunion with her sister Daisy and their Bafta-winning comedy This Country).

In the new series, which is filmed in Bristol and the West Country, Nic will be kicked out of the family home and reduced to sharing a caravan with her not-so-trustworthy best friend Jen.

Am I Being Unreasonable? was first aired in 2022 with the first episode pulling in an impressive 3.2 million viewers.

Speaking about the second series, Daisy May Cooper said: “If you thought Lenny Rush’s BAFTA-winning performance upstaged me in series one, wait until you see his performance completely upstage me in series two where you will be left wondering whether I was even in it at all…. livid.”

Selin Hizli added: “God bless the and everyone involved for letting us have another twisted turn at this sometimes dark, sometimes funny and always mad story. It’s been a joy and a privilege to get back into the world of AIBU and we hope everyone loves watching it as much as we’ve loved making it.”

Series two of Am I Being Unreasonable? will be available to watch on iPlayer from February 5.
