ITV The Chase star Anne Hegerty’s salary revealed and it’s staggering

Speaking on alongside Jenny Ryan, Anne said her life had been drastically changed by the show. When pushed on how it had been changed, she simply said: “Definitely the money.”
She added: “And, you know, just recognition and exposure and suddenly discovering that I had millions of friends that I didn’t know about.”
Known as The Governess on the hit quiz show, where she also appears alongside fellow brainiacs on Beat the Chasers, Hegerty is indeed one of the elite six Chasers.
The financial documents, seen by The Sun in 2021, show her company boast a cool £486k in profits, revealing that Anne has amassed over half a million in the bank.
It was disclosed that her prosperous venture raked in £194k while contributing a sum of £26,591 towards “taxation and social security” until August 2021.

During that financial year, IMDb.com reported she she appeared in 10 episodes and one Celebrity Chase, as well as repeats of The Chase.
On the show, Anne is also joined by Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan, and newcomer Darragh Ennis.
They’ve gained a following since the series’ inception, with Labbett and Wallace gracing The Chase since the very first season, followed by Hegerty in the second series, Sinha in the fourth, Ryan in the ninth, and Ennis joining the ranks in the thirteenth, reports .

A new challenge emerged for them with ITV greenlighting Beat the Chasers in 2019, which premiered on 27 April 2020. This game-changer puts contestants against a juggernaut team of up to five Chasers for a chance at substantial cash rewards, including Sinha, Labbett, Ryan, Hegerty, and Wallace.
New episodes of the Beat the Chasers are airing every Thursday, where eye-watering amounts of money can be won by contestants. Previous winners have gone home with £90,000 and £100,000, leaving viewers in tears with their impressive wins.
