‘s propaganda mouthpiece has urged the Russian dictator to unleash a nuclear weapon on London in a chilling threat issued on live TV.
The alarming warning came as a group of pro-Putin commentators debated how to respond to new US President ’s “end the war” ultimatum.
One suggested, referring to an archipelago in northern : “The best answer would be to stage good nuclear explosions on Novaya Zemlya, frankly.”
Vladimir Solovyov, a pro-Kremlin TV host who has been presenting the television show Evening with Vladimir Solovyov on -1 since 2012, added: “Don’t you have enough places to blow up?
“London, for example….. Why should Novaya Zemlya be tortured? Rather than London? [The British] will think it’s just fireworks.”

Andrey Gurulev, a reservist general and pro-Kremlin MP, previously said bombing London was “out of the question”.
But he didn’t overtly disagree with Mr Solovyov during the programme, telling viewers across 11 Russian time zones: “That’s just rude [the way Trump talks to us].”
He added: “Look at what [Donald] Trump is doing. He appears not as president of the United States, but as the master of the world.
“Is he threatening us or what… He should learn the history of World War II so he can understand who won it [Soviet Union] and how many people died…. Maybe our president should get an account on X, and respond to [Trump].”

It comes after the new US president bluntly told Putin to expect financial ruin if he failed to stop the “ridiculous” war in and engage in peace talks, and end the loss of life.
The Moscow tyrant should expect “high levels of taxes, tariffs, and sanctions on anything being sold by to the United States, and various other participating countries”, Mr Trump added.
Many other Russian broadcasters have erupted in fury in response.
Former Deputy Defence Minister Col-Gen Andrei Kartapolov, now a hardline Russian MP, told another propaganda show: “Neither in 100 days, nor in 180 days will [Donald] Trump solve and regulate the conflict in . It will be done by the Russian army within the deadline set by its supreme commander-in-chief, our President .
“And whatever they say there, the decision will be on the battlefield. Today that battlefield is ours.”
Meanwhile, Ukrainian leader has urged Mr Trump to go for the jugular with Putin.
He said: “President Trump is now, as they say, riding high. He had a convincing victory in the elections, and now he is making confident steps in domestic policy. And the issue of ending the war in , in my opinion, should be Trump’s victory, not Putin’s. And for him, Putin is a nobody.”
